| Cree singer Buffy Sainte-Marie from an image from her website. This portrait features a large area of darks with several areas of intricate detail. The viewer's eye is likely drawn to the white feather in Buffy's hair, but my favorite part is the tiny highlights on her cheek just to the right of her eye. This artwork took seven full months to complete. |
