Spaulding lauded for Indian studies
Spaulding High School recently posted its 2007-2008 Program of Study on the school website. One of the new courses that will be available to students in grades 10-12 is "North American Indian Studies CP."
This is a very encouraging development, one that makes me proud to say I am a Spaulding alum. Spaulding High School is now among an elite few high schools in New Hampshire and across New England to offer such a course.
Officials at Spaulding and at the district level should be commended for introducing this course, especially Superintendent Mike Hopkins.
