Isn't it peculiar how those who argue that this is an insignificant "non-issue" are often the same ones who shout the loudest for retention of "their" "Indian" mascot? As is usually the case, actions speak louder than words. |

Changing the mascot of Spaulding High School would be absolutely wrong.
The [Red Raider] mascot has been this forever. As an alumna of Spaulding, that mascot holds a bunch of memories. To change that would be like saying your memories are not worthy.
In my opinion, this idea is just nit-picking. The mascot is not hurting anyone and I would personally be very upset if the mascot is changed.
So, please, leave the mascot alone and focus on more important things in life, like the war or hunger, etc.
