In September 2000 I received an email from a producer at Tribune Media Services. He stated that they were interested in posting Scarred For Life on their Comicsedge.com website for October and November. After some initial discussions about compensation (they would pay me) we reset the schedule for November, which would include a new strip every day for thirty days, followed by a month in their Archive section. I received 300 bucks as a result of this exposure, the only income I've ever made from my cartoons. The Comics Edge website is no longer operating. But the first image of Scarred For Life that appeared on the site on November 1, 2000, is available at Sanfaçon.com. |
